Another beautiful day in the Chi. I love these days. Just finishing my daily e-mails/checking Myspace and stuff. I'm getting over my cold and my nose is all healed up.
I've got a DJ set sitting here that I'm gonna upload soon. It was recorded in St. Louis back when STL was good. It's one of my best recorded sets ever. 100% driving techno. I'm trying to figure out where I'm gonna put it, on my site or Myspace.
Also finishing up the new CD, finally. It's going to the plant early next week. My first new CD in four years. Hopefully it'll be done in time for L.A.
Speaking of L.A., art show coming up! I'm excited. I *love* L.A. as you know. If I thought I could make a living out there, I would have gone a long time ago. Oh well, jetsetting between Chicago and Berlin, poor baby. Anyway, trying to get all my L.A./Hollywood heads out to the show and will be sending a big e-mail soon with the address of the gallery. I did four new pieces for the show.
Turns out I'm playing an underground party while I'm out there too, a kinda last minute thing. It's a new promoter. He seems pretty cool so far, but that can change ;-)
OK, I'm getting out into this day. Going to the cafe to draw, then I've got dinner tonight with Giaxia, then going to master the new CD at Steve Tang's studio.
I can't stress enough how much I'm loving this summer!
