From The Digital Sweatshop
The Music, Art and Travels of Alan D. Oldham a.k.a. DJ T-1000.

Upcoming for 2007.

Friday, December 01, 2006

*I'm listening to "Elektrofive" now. Longtime readers of this blog know it's the electro project I've been working on under the name The Neon Sex Fiend. Remixes from DJ K-1 (Aux 88) and Ultradyne are in and they're the absolute shit. 100% Detroit for that ass. Coming out the beginning of next year on Generator (yes, Generator).

*Right now I am working on my DJ T-1000 comeback record. I've been in the studio non-stop working on it since I got back from Berlin. 100% techno, no bullshit. I'm two tracks into a four-track EP. Too soon to tell what label it will appear on.

*Starting next week I'll also be working on vocal sessions for The Inside "Champagne For My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends." This is the dark trip-hop album. Think Massive Attack, Curve, NIN, etc. This will be the second release on my new CD-only, lowtempo label xfive, and the follow-up to "The Art of Transformation." Limited to 100 copies. Spring 2007.

(By the way, "The Art of Transformation" sold like hotcakes. There are only a few left, so if you want one, please click the button on your lower left-hand side. And if you want it signed, let us know when you place your order!)

*Finally, I'm working on both my one-man Berlin gallery show in April (new pieces), and the new Johnny Gambit comic. When I need a break from the studio, I work on some pages. It's looking HOT if I do say so myself.

*Also currently negotiating DJ gigs from now through March '07 in the USA, and April-May '07 in Europe. For bookings, kindly contact us at bookings@puresonikrecords.net.

OK, gotta get back to it. Have a good weekend!
