In the studio today working on the new Tresor record. It's really shaping up. My big comeback. A few people have asked to hear the tracks via MP3 but I'm keeping them under wraps. Getting my frustrations out through the music, as one should.

One of the tracks was supposed to have been remixed by one of my longtime musical heroes (rock/industrial, not techno), but he backed out. Never try to work with your heroes, man, you'll just end up disappointed. Just tell 'em you love their work and move on. Seriously.

I'm kinda bouncing back and forth today between the studio and the drawing board. When I start to get burned out, I switch up. Problem is, everything goes slower that way.

I go out this weekend to play the "High Tech Soul" premiere in Cleveland. I haven't seen the movie yet. I know I'm in it, though. Cleveland's really been good to me of late and I appreciate the love. It's nice to play to such a great crowd so close to home.

PS: Prince rocked the Superbowl. He should have played longer. And I was like "Isn't that a Foo Fighters track he's playing?" Wow. I bet Dave Grohl is doing backflips that Prince covered him at the Superbowl. Can you say ASCAP/BMI.
