Currently working on JOHNNY GAMBIT again after some creative doubt. Just started issue two and it's outlined all the way to the end. Thanks to Tyler Weisenbeck for kicking my ass. Giaxia has finally started lettering it. It's coming together nicely.

Going to Detroit next weekend to visit my mom, then off to Berlin for tour. I haven't played out since New Year's! First gig: the Dynamix party at Fabrik, Madrid, Spain! I played in Madrid last Christmas, so this should be fun. Crowds there are wild. Being in Europe will get those winter pounds off in a hurry.

It'll be nice and quiet between gigs so I'll be doing lots of artwork. Nothing inspires me like Berlin. Got two album covers on deck right now for different clients.

Oliver Ho asked me last week if I'm doing any gallery shows this year. I'm concentrating on comic books (and maybe a t-shirt design) instead.

Soon as I'm back to Chicago in mid-June, we put the final touches on X5003, the debut CD from The Inside, my trip-hop project.

Wizard World is the big comic convention here in Chicago. It's at the end of June and I'll be attending for the first time (they used to have it in August and I was always out spinning when they had the convention). It's gonna be fun. And it's a Blue Line ride away as opposed to the San Diego Comicon, where you have book flight and hotel a year in advance.
