LadyParasyte Live: 11/29/08

Sunday, November 30, 2008

These shots are from the live band project I'm involved in, LadyParasyte. We played our first gig at a Goth/Industrial event called "The Awakening II" at Reggie's Rock Club here in Chicago. You can see me in the background rockin' the ones and twos. What began as a bunch of friends just messing around became a real band almost before our eyes. We played to an almost-full house and very enthusiastic crowd, and got great feedback after the set. I produced one of the tracks we used in the live set and it was cool to hear it loud over the house system with vocals on top (I'm producing a full techno/EBM record with LadyParasyte in '09). We just got another gig request(!), so I hope we'll do more in the future. Pics are courtesy of LadyParasyte a.k.a. Kim. You can hear some of the tracks we played live on her Myspace page.

Blast From The Past.

Friday, November 21, 2008

With my upcoming European Tour starting in a couple of weeks, I thought it would be cool to share this old poster from the "Neutra" days of 2002. Time sure does fly in this business. But I'm in a better, healthier, and all around more creative personal place than I was back then.

New New New.

Monday, November 10, 2008

Been deep in the studio for months now bangin' out the new shit and saving my pennies. I'm finally back to making techno and electro after years of being in my lowtempo period. Working on a lot of new musical (and artistic) concepts and ideas and yes, I'm starting Pure Sonik Records back up again. Vinyl and digital releases. Almost ready to throw some shit up here for you to preview so hold tight. I start up again full-blast in early 2009. Times have changed so much since I was putting out records back in the early 2000s, much of it for the better, believe it or not! It's a good time to get back into it. Obama taught us all the value of timing. Thanks for all your support over the years, I can't believe I'm still out here!

Over and out.

Nudes.

Was sitting around bored and horny and decided to get naughty. These turned out so good, there will be more. Pencil, acrylic and watercolor on canvas for those who are wondering. As usual with me, no Photoshop enhancements. Black girl series is next. Click to view bigger. Originals are for sale (8" x 10" canvas panels). Let me know if you want one. Enjoy, you freaks.

Yes he is. Yes we did. The first time in a long time that I'm proud to be an American.
