Beyond Djax Art Expo, Outland Gallery Amsterdam, 17 Sept 2010

Wednesday, January 05, 2011

Been so busy over the fall and early winter with tour and the holidays and recording, etc. that I forgot to post these pics on my blog! They have been up on Facebook for a while, but not all of you are my Facebook friends (I am maxed out by the way so you can't add my main page, but please add my art page: CLICK HERE.)

"Beyond Djax" was the most successful gallery show I've ever done. Most of the pics you see are sold out. Many of my friends came to the opening including DJ Bone and Dave Clarke as you can see above. Ben Sims came by the next day and bought some paintings, and Shinedoe came by a couple of days later. Friends from Berlin, Dresden and London came through as well. I hung out for a week after the opening and painted three new pieces while in Amsterdam. They too sold. Craziness.

I am now working on paintings for a new show, hopefully in 2011 if I can generate enough material. Unfortunately, it won't be at Outland, as the owner there and I have come to a parting of the ways. But Amsterdam is still number one on my list for gallery venues!

This is also the season I'm taking commissions, so if you want any art done, make contact. Having an original Oldham in your studio is the in-thing among DJ/producers, just ask Ben Sims, Miss Djax, Ritzi Lee, and Luke Slater ;)

Companion art book below! Companion CD release on the way.
